Lisa Karres, D.O.

Dr. Lisa M. Karres was born in Barberton, Ohio but spent most of her childhood in West Jefferson, Ohio, a rural town just west of Columbus, Ohio. After high school she attended Capital University in Bexley, Ohio. She majored in Biology/Pre-Medicine. She got married her senior year there. As her husband was in the military she decided to venture out of Ohio and so went to Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, Florida.  Lisa did her residency in Family Medicine at Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster, OH.  She thought she wanted to be an OB/GYN and so became a member of the Woman’s health club and even the Treasurer. Then in her third year of medical school she had a little boy. After taking a year off of Medical school to be a stay at home mom she decided to be a family physician instead of OB/GYN. Dr Karres enjoys treating everyone in the family from great-grandmothers to newborn babies. She is a member of the AOA, AMA, and AAFP. Her pastimes are spending time with family, gardening, exercising and watching movies.
